Basic Function The Senior Geodetic Engineer provides the company with the surveying information and mapping services required to conduct Geodetic, Topographic , Hydrographic and remote sensing surveys , To fulfill this objective he prepares guidance in the setting of a geodetic control in remote areas and prepares topographic and seismic survey maps for geophysical operations. Prepares , establishes and verifies technical specifications of survey works for both Onshore and Offshore areas, Coordinates and participates in gathering information from field and seismic operations by GPS and RTK for use in the Geodetic GIS system. Monitors contractors surveying , work and navigation positioning with respect to quality , timing and verification of the final reports prior to invoices processing . Conducts field QC/QA visits. Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in Surveying Engineering 12 or more years of high level varied experience in Land and Hydrographic Surveying in Onshore /Offshore surveys and geodetic works, with at least eight years of working experience in oil and gas industry . Strong Oral and Written and English-Arabic communication abilities. Able to use all related Hardware & software (Computer literate), Conversant with the latest Digital Mapping Techniques , AutoCAD, Good working knowledge of GPS and Satellite images, GIS and Real Time Kinematics (RTK) Surveying techniques and surveying /Positioning Software for Seismic Acquisition.
