Finance Manager
Urgent vacancy for
their regional distributorship of an exclusive range of yachts and a
boat manufacturing company. The position reports to the Group Financial
Controller.
Job Profile:
• Prepare monthly balance sheet and profit and loss statements.
• Establish, maintain, proper internal control procedures for the Company.
• Prepare annual budgets and ensure that monthly reporting referred to above is done in reference to these budgets with proper documentation for variance.
• Maintain a good working relationship with the factory supplying the luxury yachts and ensure accounts are reconciled with them on a monthly basis.
• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits. Provide accounting policy orientation for new staff.
• Identify and implement areas for cost reduction.
• Maintain inventory and job costing records.
Qualifications & Experience:
• A chartered accountant with minimum five years of accounting experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications. Knowledge of local financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
• Strong communications and presentation skills.
