Purpose and Scope Takes high responsibility in diagnosing and resolving OS System problems, ensuring that account is taken of agreed levels of service and the needs for quality, security, availability and safety, utilizing appropriate specialized techniques, tools, methods or standards. This includes carrying out high level of planning and design, providing advice and guidance to IS/IT management in the planning phases of information systems, to ensure that OS System requirements (particularly network response times, volumetric information and security requirements) are reflected in the overall specification. Takes high responsibility in reviewing OS System statistics, identifying trends in traffic flow and levels of service and proposes capacity changes as required.
